The City of Burlington will have 3 openings on City Council for the June 9, 2026 election date! Positions take over on July 1, 2026. Petitions can begin circulating January 1st! If you or someone you know is interested, please print the necessary forms below and submit to City Hall no later than April 6, 2026 at 4:00pm to get your name on the ballot.

Campers, boats, trailers, etc. all need to remain off City streets from November 1 through March 31 each year!

SB 2180 update:

Public comment, or personal appearances, have always been included on the City of Burlington agenda. BUT with the passing of SB 2180, public comment cards/forms must be filled out 1 week prior to City Council meetings in order for your voice to be heard that evening. Forms can be found under ‘Residents’ - ‘Forms’, or by clicking the link below:

Without the proper forms submitted PRIOR to any city council meeting, your voice cannot be heard.
